Writing a subject line for any kind of business is challenging. It needs to be exciting and encouraging enough for readers to open the mailer but at the same time short, precise and informative.

Why Email Marketing Rocks
Email marketing has been upon us for more than 20 years. Since the arrival of social media, many professionals in the digital marketing sector have predicted that email marketing will be a dying tool and therefore not worth to invest in. To this day, I disagree.

Das "Mazey Day" Fest – Ein einzigartiges Erlebnis in Cornwall
Festes" in Penzance. Eines meiner Favoriten ist aber definitiv
"Mazey Day", welches Teil der siebentägigen
Golowan-Festpiele ist. Dieses findet jedes Jahr Ende Juni in Penzance
statt.
Mazey Day Celebration – One of a Kind
Coming from
Greifswald, a town in the north east of Germany, where the most
exciting festivity is the yearly Christmas market, I was immediately
drawn to the various Cornish festivals that seem to take place on a
month to month basis. People in Cornwall just love to celebrate their
heritage, traditions and culture. Luckily, I am fortunate enough to
be able to visit a few of those, from Flora Day in Helston to the
Fish Festival in Newlyn and the winter solstice celebrations during
the Montol Festival in Penzance. One of my all time favourites though
has to be Mazey Day which is part of the week long Golowan
Festivities taking place every year at the end of June in Penzance.

Email Marketing Cornwall: 10 easy steps to optimise your campaigns
Email
marketing is sometimes seen as the shy sibling next to the outgoing
social media sister and the popular content marketing brother.
Personally, I feel we should all embrace email marketing more because
it is easily trackable, very cost effective, less time consuming,
versatile, very personal if you want to and immediate.

Cornwall Winter Sales
January is a very quiet month for any hotel in Cornwall. It is therefore no surprise that many have decided to close their doors and re-open in February, ready for Valentine's Day. Nevertheless, the marketing departments never rest and are already setting up new promotions to ensure a successful 2014. As I enjoy receiving newsletters, I thought it is time for another Cornish email marketing post.

Perranuthnoe – A Cornish gem waiting to be discovered
Driving
down to Perranuthnoe on the narrow, winding road one is immediately
greeted by the pink rendering of the multi award winning pub the
Victoria Inn. Due to the success of the inn which is one of the
oldest in the country, Perranuthnoe was first brought to the
attention of culinary enthusiasts. Most recently though, the small
coastal village is attracting a much more diverse crowd of visitors
who instantly fall in love with its unspoilt and quiet appearance.
