Email Marketing Cornwall – Cornish Events for your Campaign

Every email marketing campaign you send out needs to include relevant information for your readers. This can be challenging. An easy way to overcome the draught of content is to use events in your mailer that are organised by your local tourism board. My latest post therefore focuses on events taking place in Cornwall which you can easily use for your email marketing.

Providing your subscribers with details on festivals, concerts and other events is highly appreciated as you offer them a selection of activities that they can enjoy while on holiday. This makes you a credible sender which will lead to an even better open rate for your email marketing campaign.

Here are a few examples of events in Cornwall that you could use for your next mailer.

Fal River Festival in Falmouth – 23 My – 01 June
This is a great 10 days festival celebrating places, history, culture and people of Cornwall, specicially the area along the Fal river. In total, there will be around 150 different events which are all losely connected to food, drink, sport and music. This Cornish event is definitely worth mentioning to your guests.

This is Penzance second attempt to earn back the pirate world record of fancy dress. Invite your guests to join the mayhem and dress up as a pirate to help Penzance secure their victory. It will definitely be a once in a lifetime achievement for any of the pirates participating.

Golowan Festival – 21 June – 29 June
The Golowan Festival is a personal favourite of mine. I highly recommend watching the Mazey Day parade which is a spectacular procession through town organised by local schools. Children are dressed in colourful costumes carrying breathtaking sculptures which are based on local themes. Last year the theme was giants so schools created amazing displays of King Kong, Moby Dick and James and the Giant Peach.
