Best Cornish Christmas Offers

Christmas is one of the most important seasons in any business calendar and with it being so close, we as customers are flooded with Christmas related offers. As I am a fan of Christmas newsletters, I thought it would make a nice blog post to show you a few which I have received this year.

1. Watergate Bay
The Watergate Bay Newsletter arrived in my inbox a few days ago. The subject line was: “The Watergate Bay Gift Guide” which made me open the newsletter straight away as I was wrecking my brain to come up with a few more gifts for my family and friends. I always like the design of the Watergate Bay newsletters and this one is particularly nice as the product images are very clear and the content has a great flow to it.

2. Bedruthan Hotel & Spa
Looking at this newsletter, I was immediately tempted to reserve a table due to the fantastic imagery. Including a video link is a nice idea and made me spent more time with the brand than I would have normally done.

3. The Headland Cornwall
The Headland Cornwall newsletter could not be more Christmas like. The chosen colour scheme of red and green makes it immediately obvious that this is a Christmas mailer. Some might say that it contains too much content and that there are not enough call to action buttons but it serves its purpose of informing the reader on the available Christmas offers. The only aspect I would have definitely changed is the subject line (Last chance to book a traditional family Christmas at the Headland) which in my opinion is too long and the brand name should also be closer to the beginning.

4. The Rosevine
What is there not to like about the look and feel of the Rosevine newsletter? The imagery is great, the content is straightforward and read within 30 seconds. I especially like the header “We are ready for Christmas, are you?” which made me want to get a Christmas tree straight away. This is definitely one of my favourites so far!

There are of course many more offers out there. If you received an offer you would like to share, please feel free to contact me.
